2022 Intrusion protection and video surveillance in one

Adding video surveillance to an intrusion alarm system was once a time-consuming process. Now, though, Securiton AG has succeeded in converging the two. The merging of SecuriSafe Compact and SecuriEye Compact benefits the user in terms of professional security technology and intelligent system integration. The result is an ultra-secure system for small premises that can be operated via a smartphone.

Securiton has succeeded in converging its SecuriSafe Compact intrusion alarm system and SecuriEye Compact video surveillance system. This merging of two systems to create a larger entity is not as straightforward as it sounds. But it is now easier than having to laboriously combine relay technology, which is how things used to be done. Securiton’s two security systems – SecuriSafe Compact (intrusion alarm system) and SecuriEye Compact (video surveillance system) – speak the same system language and thus link together quickly and easily. Together, they form an ideal team for monitoring smaller premises such as single-family homes, apartments, offices or exhibition spaces.

Simplified security

Deploying this combined security solution means benefiting from twice the security. It simplifies the day-to-day management of security in so many ways: alarm signals can be received and displayed at the intrusion control panel and now also linked to camera images, with a display of live images transmitted from the scene of the incident. The new double security system can be used in a variety of ways in everyday life, such as viewing the live images to check if an intrusion alarm received while on holiday really is the result of a break-in or, in the case of retail premises, getting on-site security personnel to immediately inspect the site on receipt of a push notification issued by the intrusion alarm system. The possible applications are endless.
