2013 Defining common values

 

The Securiton management held this year’s Tour de Suisse under the motto “We are building a dream house together”. This Tour de Suisse has, however, nothing to do with cycling; rather, it is an interactive employee information event held at all the company's offices in Switzerland. Securiton's management provides information on the current course of business and important news from the past and current financial year.

For this year's edition, the Executive Board decided to hold a special event to give all employees a better understanding of the culture pyramid, which was developed at management workshops.

What connects the dream house with the culture pyramid?

The motto “We are building a dream house together” was the common thread running through the entire event. The invitation was designed in the form of a building plan. In a first group task, the participants designed their dream house. Based on the common features of all the houses, the management made the transition to the culture pyramid and its content. In the second workshop, the groups worked out examples and suggestions on how the values of the pyramid can be implemented in everyday work, but also beyond that. Finally, each office manager turned to his staff to show how he will promote the implementation of the culture pyramid in the office.
