The new SecuriRAS® ASD 535 marks another milestone in the development of high-class aspirating smoke detectors. The successful early fire detection system from Securiton is even more powerful, universal and responsive than its predecessors. Fires are already discovered in their incipient phase and therefore cannot cause major damage.
Aspirating smoke detectors from Securiton have been in service for over 40 years and have already prevented many fires. The latest generation of this fire detection technology is now on the market, and impresses with its speed and reliable detection.
Intelligent system
Essentially, the SecuriRAS® ASD 535 consists of a nose and brain: One or two independent pipes draw in the air and transport it to the measuring chamber of the fire detection device. Once in the “brain”, HD scattered light sensors take a close look at the airflow. If the sensor detects smoke particles and these exceed the freely definable limits, an alarm is triggered. This message is sent immediately to the fire alarm control panel and then to the fire brigade so that appropriate measures can be taken.
State-of-the-art technology
Securiton has invested a lot in the development of the new system. For example, the ASD 535 contains a smoke sensor with new high-dynamic technology that provides dynamic soiling and temperature compensation thanks to its patented particle suppression. In addition, improved detection reliability is possible on the system with the size-optimised LVSC (Large Volume Smoke Chamber) on the sensor. Depending on the specific spatial conditions and potential hazards, the smoke particle measurement sensitivity can be freely defined. Added to this is the most powerful fan available on the market. This allows larger rooms to be monitored better than ever before.
Quiet, discreet, versatile
The SecuriRAS® ASD 535 renders its service inconspicuously in the background. The sampling tubes can be adapted to the environment or installed completely invisibly, while the sampling system is so noise-optimised that it is even used in concert halls. From electrical cabinets to theatre halls and airports, the ASD 535 monitors all objects and rooms with unique sensitivity and intelligence.
