
Changes and new appointments in senior management at the Securitas Group came into effect on 1 July 2001. As a result, the entire company will undergo logical and success-oriented changes at the top. The appointment of Patrick Yenni as the new Head of UB A&S is crucial for Securiton.
Thanks to the dedicated work required as a result of the rapid development of the Securitas Group and the market, time has certainly flown by. In recent years, we have not only been joined by new subsidiaries such as Schrack Seconet (A) and WSH (D) – parent companies and long-standing joint ventures have also taken some decisive steps. As the saying goes, pain and pleasure – or in our case, success and farewell – are never far apart.
Current challenges such as prisoner transport, the new company Securitrans, professional recognition and industry contracts have been overcome or are on the right track. The Securitas Group also wants to tackle future tasks on the basis of stability and consistency. This applies to the overall management, the Services division and the Alarm and Security Systems division.
New roles as of July 2001
The Board of Directors of Securitas AG wants to safeguard its management responsibility in the long term, and held the following elections at its general meeting in May 2001:
Samuel Spreng, previously CEO (Chief Executive Officer), will now become full-time Chair of the Board of Directors. Here, he will focus on the Group’s strategic development and external relations.
Hans Winzenried becomes Delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Securitas Group (Chief Executive Officer). He is responsible for the operational management of the Securitas Group and the management of the Security Services division.
Beat Glutz v. B., previously Director of Securitas Lucerne, becomes Operations Manager of the Swiss security company Securitas AG. He will also chair the Executive Board, consisting additionally of Jean-Pierre Authier, Ernst Blatter, Pierre Joliat, Roger Lamm and Claudia Schira.
Patrick Yenni, previously Chief Executive Officer of Hekatron GmbH, is now Head of the Alarm and Security Systems division.
Consistently on course
Steering the entire Securitas Group towards a successful future is the central objective of the new management team. Tried-and-tested strategies have been established here, and there is no need to change our course.
