By autumn 1987, the entire central warehouse of Securiton – currently located on two leased floors in Ittigen – is to be relocated to the new building with the aim of improving the service level of the warehouse and significantly reducing the corresponding material overheads. The building application in March was preceded by a comprehensive planning and concept study in order to find the most economical solution for the warehouse layout and technology, the flow of goods and the workflow. All this was made while taking future facility and space requirements into account. With the help of specialists from the commissioned engineering company, a project took place over several months in line with our needs and concluded with the granting of a building permit at the beginning of September.

As Securitas secured the reserve of land on Alpenstrasse in 1984, it is now possible to carry out an organic expansion of the company premises and use the available company site to its full potential.
